Help protect our home

Global plastic production reached almost 370 million tonnes in 2019 and this number is growing every year. Plastic production is expected to nearly double by 2050. Almost 80% of plastic waste ends up in landfills, in nature and in oceans, and only around 12% is recycled. This requires a fundamental change in how we think about how plastics are produced, used and how plastic waste is handled.

Thanks to materials from renewable sources and biodegradable materials, we can replace a wide range of conventional plastics used in the medical, packaging, cosmetic, food, agricultural and many other industries.
